Our Basic roll-up slatted frame offers everything you really need in bed. It consists of 25 solid beech slats, which are particularly stable and strong. Beech wood is a hardwood and impresses with its robustness and long durability. The slats have very little spring, which promotes a firm and hard feeling when lying in bed. That's why we recommend the Basic roll-up slatted frame to anyone who prefers a firm and less flexible lying feeling. Despite its simple structure, the most important function of any good slatted frame is not lost: ventilation. Your mattress receives plenty of air, which means that moisture and heat are dissipated at all times.

Focus on the important things!

The slats are each 44mm wide and the entire slatted frame is only approx. 20mm high. It is therefore very space-saving and can be used in any bed that offers continuous support slats. You can find out more about this in our installation instructions below. The Basic roll slatted frame can be used optimally with high mattresses, such as our QUQON mattresses, or with children's mattresses.

Of course, the slatted frame is completely metal-free and sustainably made from 100% natural materials. For example, the beech wood is completely untreated. The side pocket straps, which hold the individual slats in place, are sewn by hand and made of unbleached cotton. This also prevents annoying noises in bed.

Important information about installing a roll-up slatted frame

Please note that a roll-up slatted frame - in contrast to conventional slatted frames with a rigid frame - requires a continuous contact surface of at least 5cm per side! Your bed must therefore have side rails with a width of at least 5cm so that the roller slatted frame does not fall through.

Double beds that use two slatted frames must also have a middle bar that is at least 10cm wide (double, as both slatted frames rest there).

Does your bed not have these support surfaces for a roller slatted frame or are you unsure? Then we recommend ours QUQON Comfort slatted frame with rigid frame. This fits in every standard bed.
